VILLANOVA, Pa. -- After one of the most impressive showings in program history at the Head of the Schuylkill last weekend, Villanova hits the road to New Jersey on Sunday to race in the Princeton Chase on Lake Carnegie.

The Wildcats look to keep momentum on their side in this fall season, racing two boats on Sunday in the Women's Open 8+ that is set to start at 10 a.m. with 62 boats in the field. All 18 'Cats racing on Saturday raced in the season-opener in Philly last week. Eight of the nine Wildcats who were in the V8 boat that took bronze last week are once again together on Sunday, including the five who also earned bronze in the Championship Fours.

This is the program's first appearance in the annual regatta since 2009.
