Katie LeGrand serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, a position she's held since 2021. LeGrand is responsible for oversight of the athletic compliance program for 24 varsity sports at Villanova and for supervision of all processes and procedures related to NCAA rules and regulations. She is also the Sport Administrator for the women’s lacrosse team.
LeGrand originally came to Villanova in 2008 as a part of the Internship program and was promoted to Compliance Coordinator in 2010. Prior to her current role, she spent time as Director of Compliance and served eight years as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance.Â
Prior to working at Villanova, LeGrand was a Compliance Assistant at Bryant University, where she also was the men's and women's swimming assistant coach.
During her time at Bryant, LeGrand received her Master of Business Administration in 2008. She is a 2004 graduate of Ithaca College, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a minor in legal studies. LeGrand was also a four-time All-American at Ithaca as part of the swimming & diving team.
She was a member of the Division I Swimming & Diving Championships Committee from 2018-2022 and chaired the committee from 2019-2022. LeGrand is a member of NAAC and is currently serving as a NAAC mentor in the mentoring program.
LeGrand and her husband, Adam, reside in Media, Pa. with their daughter, Audrey, and son, Parker.
