Jamie Brodie (Shroy)

Jamie Brodie became the Head Cheerleading and Mascot Coach at Villanova University in 2015 after serving as an assistant coach for two years.
 
In her role, Jamie is responsible for planning and executing practice sessions focused on skill development, educating team members, and enforcing safety protocols during practices, games, and competitive performances. She oversees all regular season and postseason travel, supports student-athletes with time management while emphasizing academic achievement and team cohesion, and collaborates with staff on choreography for athletic performances and UCA College Nationals.
 
Jamie graduated from Temple University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree and certification in Elementary Education, a certification in Special Education, and a minor in Sociology.  Jamie brings collegiate cheerleading experience from Temple University. Her cheerleading background includes extensive experience at the recreational, high school, and All-Star levels, highlighted by national titles earned with Cheer Tyme All-Stars.
 
Outside of coaching at Villanova, Jamie currently works in Philadelphia as a Special Education Coordinator. Jamie resides in Wayne, PA with her husband, Lionel B. Brodie III, and their dog and cat, Roux and Brew.
