Jamie Brodie (Shroy)

Jamie Brodie became the Head Cheerleading and Mascot Coach at Villanova University in 2016 after serving as an assistant coach for two years.
 
In her role, Jamie plans and executes practice activities including skill development, educates team members and enforces proper safety processes and procedures during practice sessions, games, and competition performances, and oversees all regular season and postseason travel. She also assists team members with time management, placing an emphasis on academic achievement, team bonding activities, and collaborates with other staff members on choreography for athletic performances as well as UCA College Nationals.
 
Jamie graduated from Temple University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree and certification in Elementary Education, a certification in Special Education, and a minor in Sociology.  Jamie comes to the Villanova Cheerleading program with high school, all-star, and collegiate cheerleading experience from Temple University.  
 
Outside of coaching at Villanova, Jamie currently works in Philadelphia, PA as a Special Education Coordinator. Jamie resides in Wayne, PA with her husband, Lionel B. Brodie III, and their dog and cat, Roux and Brew.
