Chuck Davis serves as an athletics academic advisor at Villanova, a position he's served in since 2019. Davis functions as the academic contact for football, men's soccer, men's golf, women's rowing and men's & women's track and field & cross country.
Davis comes to Villanova after a stint as a student success coach for student-athletes at Shippensburg University. While working on his Master's, Chuck worked as a graduate assistant with the Academic Success Program and spent four seasons as a men's basketball assistant coach.
Davis earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Shippensburg in 2007, where he was a three-time All-PSAC First Team selection as a member of the basketball team. At the time of his graduation, Chuck was the school's all-time leader and top 25 in the conference's history in scoring, and also the first SU player to earn Conference Player of the Year.Â
After completing his undergraduate degree, Davis pursued a professional career in the NBA Development League with the Colorado 14ers and overseas in Turkey.
In 2019, Davis completed a Master's in Organizational Leadership/Higher Education Structure and Policy.
Chuck resides in Bensalem, Pa., with his wife Amber and their dog Diesel.
