Maureen Wallace serves as a volunteer assistant for the Villanova volleyball program, joining the staff in the spring of 2025.
Wallace has a storied volleyball coaching career, inducted into the Ches-Mont and Coatesville Hall of Fames as a coach in addition to earning Philadelphia Inquirer Coach of the Year. Wallace previously coached at Drexel University, Lower Merion High School, Coatesville Senior High and numerous camps plus her work as a USAV Junior coach at various locations.
In her playing career, Wallace served as a team captain at Temple University and trained with the USA East national training team during school before going on to play many more years with USA Volleyball. Wallace captured a USAV National Championship in 1995, won three Can-Am Tournaments in the 1980s and has a pair of senior national championships in 2013 and 2014.
Wallace earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University and a masters in educational leadership from Cheney University of Pennsylvania.
