Biography
Brilliant rookie season consistently finishing in the team[apos]s top three and earning all-conference and all-region honors. A Serbian national junior champion in cross country, Mimic has the potential and experience to be big factor for the squad her sophomore year.
2008 - Opened the season with a bang at the Paul Short Invitational where she placed 8th individually in the highly competitive field. Finishing right behind teammate Frances Koons, Mimic helped lead Villanova to a 2nd place finish overall among 47 teams. Next up was the Pre- NCAA meet and once again the freshman showed she is a force to be reckoned with as she placed 13th individually in the Blue race. Mimic was the first runner from Villanova to cross the line and led the team to a 2nd place overall team finish. Her consistency continued at the Big East Championships as Bogdana placed 5th individually . She was the 2nd runner from Villanova to cross the line and helped the team win it[apos]s 11th Big East Championship in cross country. Next up, Mimic was the first freshman in a field of over 190 runners to cross the line at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals. Her 5th place finish as the Wildcats[apos] number two runner helped the squad finish 3rd. Rounding out the season, Mimic raced to 67th place at the NCAA Championships supporting her team[apos]s 6th place finish.
