Villanova Univeristy Athletics

High School: Mitchell played 12 years with the St. James Football Club and was called into two USYNT ID Camps and. She has also been to three GA Talent ID events. She was a member of the 2021 Girls Academy U15 National Championship squad and named the U15 Golden Glover winner that same year. She was a First Team All-Region and All-District selection in high school, helping the Independence High School squad to a state championship in 2023. In net, she racked up over 100 saves in 2024. Academically, she was a three-time member of the honor roll.

Personal: Native of Ashburn Va. born May 24, 2007 … She and twin sister Ava are the children of Kerry and Scott Mitchell … Aunt, Jodi Huston, was a point guard for the West Point Women’s Basketball team in the 1990s and great grandmother, was a four-year captain for the Baldwin Wallace College Women’s Basketball team in the 1930s … “Upon my first visit to Villanova, I met many incredible people, who all consistently affirmed that Villanova is so much more than a university, it is a community and a family. Unlike other previous college visits, I knew immediately that Villanova is where I belong as it felt like home. As a student-athlete, I am so excited to be a part of the women’s soccer team.
