Villanova Career: Debuted for the Wildcats as a freshman in 2020-21 and was part of a first-place finish by the third varsity eight boat at the CAA Championship … Versatile competitor who raced with the fours and the eights before making a solid move to the V8 as a senior … Returned to Villanova for her fifth year.

2024-25: Raced in all six events in her fifth year, totaling 15 races mostly with the V8 … Had a fourth-place finish at the Head of the Schuylkill in the Championship 8s (13:02.174) … Picked up a trio of wins against Lehigh’s V8 at the Bucknell Invite to close the fall with the fastest showing in the head-to-head being a 3:01.27 … Crossed sixth in the Grand Final at the Knecht Cup in 6:48.45 … V8 saw a weekend-best time of 6:42.493 in the third round of the Lake Wheeler Invite … V8 finished fourth in the Grand Final in 6:59.222 at the CAA Championship.

2023-24: Appeared in nine races through eight events, primarily with the V8 … Posted a third-place A Finals finish with the V8 at the NYRA Invitational (7:19.063) … Won the V8 at the Bucknell Invite (6:43.15) … Helped the V8 to a win against Stockton (7:09.63) … Raced to a fourth-place V8 Frand Final finish at the CAA Championship (7:04.546).

2022-23: Took part in six races on the season … Helped the JV8 to a fifth-place finish at the Doc Hosea regatta, crossing in 7:07.35 … Won the Petite Final with the 2V8 at the Knecht Cup with a time of 7:06.16 … Part of the V8 that finished sixth in the Grand Final at the Mason Invite in 7:07.8 … Logged a pair of second-place showings with the 2V8 in head-to-head races against UConn (6:16.08) and Bucknell (6:17.99) … Crossed fourth with the 2V8 in 7:54.412 at the CAA Championships.

2020-21: Rowed in the 7-seat for the third varsity eight boat which tallied a first place finish at the CAA Championship … Villanova posted a winning time of 7:07.31 to finish three seconds ahead of runner-up Delaware and pre-race favorite Northeastern … The victory helped the Wildcats finish third overall at the conference championship and match the 2017 team for Villanova’s best CAA finish since joining the league … Competed at all five events on the team schedule as a freshman … In the season opener at Delaware was in the 5-seat of the third varsity eight lineup and her team posted a time of 7:45.6 … At the Kerr Cup rowed in the bow seat in the varsity four boat as the Wildcats came in third in their heat in 7:36.9 … Competed in the third varsity eight and the second varsity four at George Mason … The 3V8 team came in first with a winning time of 7:04.8 and finished 4.1 seconds in front of Delaware and Jacksonville … The 2V4 team came in third and posted a time of 7:59.7 … Helped the 3V8 squad post a time of 7:19.2 at the Kelly Cup and Villanova was awarded a first place finish when Temple was disqualified from the race.

Club Rowing: Competed for Narragansett Boat Club and has been a member since 2018 … In 2018 earned a first place finish in the double at the CRI Fall Classic Regatta and tallied a second place finish in the single at the New England Junior Regional Championship.

Lincoln School: Earned a total of 12 varsity letters during her scholastic career, including four each in rowing, soccer and basketball … Played at every position on the field and in goal as a soccer player and was a center/forward on the basketball team … As a soccer player was a three-time RIIL Division II All-Division selection, including being a third team selection as a sophomore and a first team selection as a junior … Also was a two-time RIIL Division III honorable mention pick in basketball as a junior and a senior … Earned gold on the National Spanish Exam and honorable mention on The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards in 2017 … Achieved honorable mention on the National Spanish Exam in 2018 and 2019, as well as summa cum laude on the National Latin Exam in 2018.

Personal: Born 5/10/02 in Providence, R.I. … One of three children of Mark and Kerri Ramos … Has two siblings, Kyra (23) and Alex (15) … Comes from an athletic family, with both parents and her older sister competing in college … Mother played college basketball at Wheaton and was part of a team that advanced to the 1994 Final Four … Father played college basketball at New England College and one year professionally in Iceland … Sister, Kyra, was a college track & field athlete at Dickinson … Hobbies include reading and playing with her dog … Works at Honey Dew and enjoys spending time with family and friends … Chose to attend Villanova for the strong and supportive community on campus … Was drawn to the programs offered by the College of Engineering and to the rowing team … Noted that she knew it would be the right place for her after making her official visit and meeting the members of the team … Also cited the dedication of the coaching staff to the success of the team and individual athletes as a deciding factor in enrolling … Plans to major in Computer Engineering with a minor in Cyber Security.
