PRINCETON, N.J.—Sixth year thrower Adria Retter (Quakertown, Pa.) recorded the 10^th longest throw in school history in the discus and was one of three Villanova athletes who finished first or second in their events as the Larry Ellis Invitational wrapped up at Weaver Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore sprinters Olivia Allen (Kingwood, Texas) and Ajanae Thompson (Rahway, N.J.) came in first and second in the 400 meter hurdles and the 100 meter hurdles, respectively.
 
Retter now owns five of the 11 longest throws in the Wildcats record book in the discus, three of which have been tallied this season. She threw 50.13 meters on Saturday to finish second out of 23 competitors. It is the third time this season that Retter has surpassed 50 meters. She ranks third in the BIG EAST on the year with a personal best of 52.31 meters which was recorded in the season opener at Penn on March 22.
 
The top track performances for Villanova on Saturday came from Allen and Thompson in the hurdles. One week after lowering her PR in the 400 meter hurdles (59.45) at the Penn Relays, Allen notched a first place finish on Saturday with a winning time of 59.51. She has come in under one minute in each of her last three outings. Thompson was second in both the preliminary heats and the final of the 100 meter hurdles at Princeton. She posted a time of 14.42 in the heats and lowered her mark to 13.94 to be the runner-up in the final.
 
Villanova also had three middle distance runners in action on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Caelen O'Leary (Taunton, Mass.) registered a time of 2:15.88 in the 800 meters. The duo of junior Kinsey Pogue (Danville, Calif.) and first year Lindsay Clive-Smith (San Diego, Calif.) tallied times of 4:47.50 and 4:54.40, respectively, in the 1500 meters.
