Men’s Track & Field Wraps Up Competition at Knights Invite

ORLANDO, Fla.—Sophomore sprinter Luke Rakowitz (Dallas, Texas) recorded a personal best time in the 400 meters as Villanova wrapped up the two-day Knights Invite at the UCF Track and Field Complex on Saturday afternoon. Entries in the 400 meters and the discus made up the event schedule for the Wildcats, who also had athletes competing locally in the Penn Challenge on Saturday afternoon.
 
Rakowitz posted a time of 48.23 in the 400 meters and a quartet of Villanova runners all crossed the finish line within less than a second of each other. Senior Nicholas Mollica (Jackson, N.J.) registered a time of 48.31 and was followed by senior Jakob Kunzer (George Town, Grand Cayman) in 48.84 and sophomore Jimmy Milgie (Wildwood, Mo.) with a time of 49.06.
 
In the discus, junior Tristan Bolinsky (Gordon, Pa.) threw for a distance of 44.99 meters to tally a 13th place finish out of more than 30 competitors.
