Jakob Kunzer (George Town, Grand Cayman) recorded a time of 3:12.81, the Wildcats fastest indoor 4x400 relay in nearly four years.
Villanova moved to second in the BIG EAST this season in the 4x400 relay with Saturday's performance, which was more than two seconds faster than the time of 3:15.16 which was recorded by the same lineup at Penn State two weeks earlier. Mollica led off Saturday's race with a split of 48.60 on the first leg of the relay, followed by Milgie in 47.79 and Rakowitz in 48.89 ahead of a 47.53 anchor leg by Kunzer.
There were two individual events for the Wildcats on Saturday. Freshman sprinter
Parker Turner (Los Angeles, Calif.) recorded a personal best time of 21.76 in the 200 meters and junior thrower
Tristan Bolinsky (Gordon, Pa.) threw for a distance of 14.55 meters in the shot put.
