Wildcats Wrap Up Weekend at Raleigh Relays and Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The 4x400 meter relay squad which consisted of freshman Amir Brock (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J.), freshman Brian Faust(Stone Mountain, Ga.), junior Ville Lampinen (Vantaa, Finland) and freshman Keegan Hughes (Malvern, Pa.) finished fourth in the final of the 4x400 meter relay at the Florida Relays on Saturday afternoon. Villanova recorded a time of 3:11.45 in the final after qualifying in the preliminary heats a day earlier.

On the first day of competition at James G. Pressly Stadium, the Wildcats had come in second in their heat and fifth overall out of 36 teams with a season-best time of 3:10.92. The lineup in the preliminary round of the relay included Brock, Lampinen, junior Harry Purcell(Dublin, Ireland) and Faust.

Also on Saturday, junior Jack Judge (Palisades, N.Y.) came in 13th in the javelin with a throw of 55.40 meters at the Raleigh Relays. He recorded the mark on the third of his three attempts and came in 10th in his individual flight.
