Feb. 10, 2018 BOSTON, Mass. - Redshirt freshman distance runner Nick Steele (Harvard, Mass.) ran the Mile for Villanova in a race at the David Hemery Invite on Saturday afternoon. He recorded a time of 4:23.68 at the Track & Tennis Center, where he was the Wildcats only men's runner in competition at the meet. Steele placed 11th in his heat in Saturday's race.
Villanova sent athletes to meets in Boston, New York and Iowa during a busy weekend schedule. Steele has run as fast as 4:06.18 in the Mile this season, with that coming at the Wildcats own home meet in Staten Island last weekend.
Up next on the schedule for Villanova is the UCS Invitational at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
