Blincoe Runs In 1,500 Meter Final

On the final day of competition at the 2001 Outdoor Track & Field Championships held in Eugene, Oregon on the campus of the University of Oregon, Villanova sophomore Adrian Blincoe ran to a 12th place finish in the 1,500 meter run. Blincoe was timed in 3:50.28. Colorado State's Bryan Berryhill won the event in 3:37.05.

Stanford University dominated the 1,500 meter race, placing three runners in the top five led by Gabe Jennings who was second in 3:37.56. David Kimani of Alabama was third with a clocking of 3:38.74, followed by Stanford teammates Michael Stember (3:39.15) and Don Sage (3:39.27).
