The Villanova men's tennis team, headed by sixth-year coach Bob Batman, defeated the Fordham Rams 6-1 in a match played at near-by Radnor High School on Saturday, March 27. With the win, the Wildcats improve their record to 8-6 for the season.
Josh Schofield, who defeated Fordham's Kevin Rodericks at sixth singles (6-2, 6-0), posted his seventh win in the last eight matches for Villanova. Schofield, a sophomore out of Collegeville, Pennsylvania, improves his overall record to 10-3 on the year.
The Wildcats get back into action on Wednesday, March 31 when they travel to Baltimore, Maryland to take on the Retrievers of UMBC.
